Dr. Aristidou is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Economics and Trade Sciences of Athens and received his doctoral in London. He was a teacher at Secondary schools during 1960-1962 and between 1967-1989 worked as Senior Planning Officer and Permanent Secretary of the Planning Bureau. During 1989-1990 he served as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and for the next 3 years until 1993 he served as Minister of Labor and Social Insurance. Since 1993 he established the I. Aristidou & Partners business-consulting house at which he serves as a Chief Executive. In the past he served as Chairman or member of various boards.
Mr. Panos Chr. Ghalanos (since December 28, 2000)(14 Eleftheropoleos street, Acropolis, Nicosia)
Mr. Ghalanos is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (BSc Economics) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He was instrumental in the formation and incorporation into a public company of Hellenic Bank being appointed as its first Director/General Manager on commencement of operations in January 1976. Under his stewardship the Bank grew from a single branch with 33 employees into what is now the third largest financial services group in Cyprus with over 110 branches, employing in excess of 1500 members of staff and having a balance sheet total of over CYP 900 million. In March 1996, he succeeded Mr. Paschalis L. Paschalides to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank Group combining with it the position of Group Chief Executive. In addition to the above post, Mr Ghalanos also holds the posts of Chairman of the Hellenic Mining Company Group (E.M.E.) and Executive Chairman of Vassiliko Cement Works Ltd, the largest cement producer on the island; he is also a Director in the KEO Group. Mr. Ghalanos has also served for twenty years on the Board of Directors of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (E.A.C.) both as member and as its Vice Chairman.
Marios Ioannides (since December 28, 2000) (27 Tamasou, St. George 2251, Nicosia)
Mr. Joannides is an Executive Director of Sharelink Financial Services Ltd since April 12, 2000. His main responsibilities are the global and strategic development of the group and funds management. He also acts as Chairman, Executive Director and Board member in a number of subsidiary companies of the group. He served for 6 years (until April, 2000) as General Manager at National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd. Prior to that he held for 10 years the post of Manager Group Financial Services at Hellenic Bank Ltd. He served as a member at Boards of public companies. Mr. Joannides also worked for Rowland, Nevill & Co of England, Coopers & Lybrand of England and Greece as well as his family businesses in Cyprus.
Philippos X. Larkos (since December 28, 2000) (15 Kerkiras street, Strovolos, Nicosia)
Mr. Larkos is an Executive Vice-Chairman and Financial Advisor of Sharelink Financial Services Ltd since February 12, 1998. He studied in England where he earned a BSc (Hons) in Electronics & Electrical Engineering. He then earned the titles of Chartered Accountant and Certified Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Between 1982-1989 he worked with Grant Thorton in Birmingham and London dealing mainly with the auditing of large corporations listed on the London Stock Exchange. In 1988 he incorporated ShareLink Stockbrokers & Investment Consultants together with Christodoulos Ellinas. Since September, 1989 he attended the Investment Management Program for 9 months at the London Business School. On January, 1990 he incorporated the auditing firm of Larkos & Partners in London and Bristol and during the summer of 1990 together with Christodoulos Ellinas, they incorporated Larkos, Ellinas & Co in Cyprus. He is a member of the Nicosia-Ledra Rotary club since 1992. He specializes in the fields of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance and Asset/Risk management. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Sharelink Asset Management Limited, Chairman of SFS Corporate Management Limited, Vice-Chairman of SFS Corporate Analysis Limited, Executive Chairman of CyPensions Limited, Executive Vice-Chairman of Sharelink Securities Limited, Board member of SFS International Securities Limited, Executive Vice-Chairman of White Knight Holdings Limited and Chairman of CyVenture Capital Limited. He is also board member in a number of family and other businesses.
Mr Telonis was born in Nicosia on January, 1960. He graduated from the Kykkos High School and after his military service, studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science where he earned a BSc (Econ). He then worked in London for 2 years and proceeded to earn a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the City University Business School where he was awarded the Royal Insurance International prize.
Mr Telonis returned to Cyprus, in 1987 and was immediately employed at the Planning and Research Department of Hellenic Bank Ltd. He was then transferred to the newly created Marketing Department, which he headed until 1999. At the end of 1999 Mr Telonis took over as General Manager of Hellenic Bank Investments Ltd. Since September, 2002 he is heading the Group Strategic Development Division of the Bank.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Investments Ltd, Hellenic Mutual Funds Ltd and of the Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association (CYMEPA).
Mr Telonis is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of the U.K.Back to Board of Directors
Hatzipantelis Panayiotis (Cyprus Archbishopric, P.O.BOX 21130, Nicosia)
Mr. Hatzipantelis is Assistant Manager of the Audit Department of the Church of Cyprus. He is a qualified accountant – member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Chemical Industries.
